Kate is a passionate and tireless worker in the field of zombie rights, both in Australia and internationally.

Every day zombies are denied many of the rights the rest of us take for granted.
For example, those not living are:

  • Denied the right to vote
  • Ineligible to apply for Social Security benefits
  • Ineligible to register with Medicare
  • Refused loans and credit cards
  • Ineligible to hold a driver's licence
  • Ineligible to register for an ABN
  • Ineligible to marry

Denied these things, they must rely on other members of the Zombie community for help. This is creating a separate and resentful underclass, and destroys the cohesiveness of Australian society. It is also against Australia's policy of multiculturalism.

Kate uses her public profile to highlight these injustices and works for the legal recognition of the status and rights of zombies. In consultation with leading members of the zombie community she founded the non-profit organisation EZRA (Equality & Zombie Rights Advocacy).

After her current committments Kate is scheduled to produce a documentary highlighting the plight and daily hardship of a zombie family living in the Perth suburb of Willetton.
