Susette Aumord

Aged 18, Susette descended from heaven on a cloud of fairy floss.

When the choir of angels had finished singing they moved out of the way, revealing Susette in all her glory. Well, most of her glory. As much of her glory as is considered suitable viewing for children.

As she stood and smiled, nearby rivers ran with lemonade, and elven children came out to play with the Unicorns which had accompanied the cloud.

The blind and sick were healed for miles around, and 5 supermodels committed suicide.

14 736 weddings were suddenly cancelled by the grooms (and 896 by the brides!)

42 countries declared an annual public holiday.

In her first year on Earth she established 5 hospitals, 4 orphanages, 3 universities, 2 fashion labels and a partridge in a pear tree, and invented marzipan.

Every year at the beginning of the day on the second of December, Susette is taken up to heaven again, and we are left knowing the pain and emptiness of life without her for nearly a whole day - until at the end of that day the cloud of fairy floss appears once more, and, aged 18, Susette is returned to us in as much of her glory as is considered suitable viewing for children.
